      Do your shoes wear out faster in the desert? Curious what the extra sand and grit do. And get the shoes early so you can start breaking them in now!

      new shoes look like old shoes in about 2 weeks. The dirt/dust out here is so thick, when it rains it's like partially dry cement. They don't necessarily wear out, just lose their "new car smell" fast.
