WOW - did I prove myself wrong today!! This time includes quick warm-up walk and two other small walks for water. I came into this workout feeling extremely tired and wondering how I am supposed to train during marching/football season. I barely squeezed in today's run & things aren't even so busy yet. I first tried to get time in the cardio cinema, but since they were showing Hunger Games - everything was taken! So I popped in headphones for the first time in several months during a run. I think I might start doing this when I run at the gym to help me zone out. I think I like hearing nature & being aware too much when I run outside, but this may help me at the gym. Oh, and I have lost a pound - happy about that!! Reading Rachel G.'s dailymile this morning had this run hanging over my head all day - thank you for pushing me, girl!!

Great run!

Great to hear that it is possible! I'm planning to start my career as a band director after I graduate from grad school, so it is inspiring to hear that you are still able to squeeze running into marching season and still do a great job at it!

I can relate to the challenges of staying on schedule. Knowing that a fellow "struggler" and runner got the run makes me glad that I got mine in.

@Jen: I go to Oklahoma City University. I'm a flute performance major. I'm working on getting my teacher's certification and will be job hunting this year. I really, really hope to stay in the Oklahoma City area, but where my husband finds work is also a factor - we're both in grad school for music performance at the same time.
