Went on the "water walk", walking against the current of the lazy river at the local waterpark. Well, actually, I only made it against the current for one lap, then had to turn around an... read more

Felt a lot better on this morning's swim. Only remembered to reach/extend my arms and keep my butt up ~25% of the time, but it must've made some difference! PROtips for tomorrow: (1) keep your ... read more

Hooooah! After I finally managed to squeeze into a lane between to very friendly (NOT) people, I ended up clawing at the water like a drowning puppy. Reminder for tomorrow: (1) keep your butt up... read more

Grrrrreat! Had to take a couple days off for the knees, and am probably adopting a new strategy: lots of little bike rides instead of one fatty 10-miler... we'll see how it plays out!

Knees are a little sore from yesterday's monster ride, and there was a little headwind today so I figured a shorter recovery ride was in order...

blah 700 yd
i am SO out of shape! My knees are getting cranky so I might have to give up running/biking and just swim until i lose some weight and take some of the load off!
-
Maybe give up running for a while, but biking won't hurt you. Plus you burn more calories biking than running and swimming. I know how you feel though; I'm in the same situation.

Man, I am BAD at running after I bike! Not that I'm great otherwise, but this certainly didn't help my pace!

John
"daily ride!" I'm seething with jealousy but very happy for you. When I come visit you, I'm bringing my bike & we're going for a ride together. :)

Sounds AWESOME! Fair warning for our bike ride: I'm still a bike-sissy that only pulls down single-digit rides so it won't be anything fancy...
