  1. RUN
good Ball field and home 2.96 mi 00:25 08:31 pace

A few laps around the ball fields and around the block a few times with my yellow lab. He did a great job hanging with me over all 3 miles.

  2. RUN
good Charles River - Mass Ave and ... 3.81 mi 00:33 08:31 pace

I actually felt like I had a little spring in my step. Arch wasn't an issue until late and knee only flared up going up stairs. Cautiously optimistic about running this well after a long lay... read more

Excellent! Have you tried strength/stretch via a PT for the arch issue?

  3. RUN

Another easy run on the grass. Right knee is still an issue, but not enough to slow the pace. Press on.

  4. RUN
good Ball fields 1.68 mi 00:14:45 08:46 pace

First official run in 11 weeks although I've been doing short 1/2 mile run/jog sessions with my dog a handful of times per week. Nice even pace for the 3 laps around the fields on the grass. ... read more

Although there are some flat sections of the course, there are some pretty good hills.

  8. RUN
alright Morning strides 4.69 mi 00:38 08:07 pace

Good work, Joe. It can take a while to get used to running with orthotics, so hang in there. I had orthotics as a child, but I ditched them when I started running as a teenager & didn't wear them again until two years ago. It took about a month to get used to them & even longer before I felt like I could run fast with them. Now its like they're not even there!

You'll get there, Joe. I've never run in orthotics, I imagine it must feel awkward at first! This is still a great overall pace, FWIW.
