I was visiting a friend in Boston this weekend and did my final long run before the Philadelphia Marathon. I didn't get to do any of the Boston Marathon course, although I did walk past the finish line at some point. Instead we ran along the Charles River. I kept it below race pace. My marathon goal is 4:30, and I finished this ten miler strong. Only three of the splits were above a 10:20 mile, and the last two miles we did in under ten minutes. I felt tired but strong at the end, and I'm excited for next week.
