  1. RUN
good Finding the Balance w/ Galloway 11.52 mi 01:58 10:13 pace

I'm using a run/walk approach this training season, but still working on my pacing. My first mile was 8:57, then a bunch around 10:00, and my final mile at 9:20. So I'm all over the place.

  2. RUN
good Right to Brunch 10.08 mi 01:44 10:20 pace

For my upcoming marathon in DC I'm going to try the Galloway method. It may not lead to me finally hitting my goal of a sub 4:30, but I think if I can tinker with the walking and running paces it m... read more

I lied. If I maintained today's average 10:20 pace (I was punching it in the beginning and slowing down in the end miles) I would be at a 4:30:55 marathon. So I think a sub 4:30 is well within my reach. w00t!!

good Windy Boston Run 10.2 mi 01:44 10:12 pace

I was visiting a friend in Boston this weekend and did my final long run before the Philadelphia Marathon. I didn't get to do any of the Boston Marathon course, although I did walk past the finish ... read more

good And then I walked home 1.34 mi 00:28 21:10 pace

Misjudged my distance on the 20 miler. After I hit a little over 20 I stopped at a gas station for fluids, then walked the rest of the way home.

Six months ago I went out for my 20 mile training run and couldn't even finish half due to a foot injury. The first 13 miles of today's run were AMAZING. Things definitely got rough after that, but... read more

great Oh, hey there wind 18.01 mi 03:20 11:04 pace

This run felt much better than last week's. Took a few more walk breaks than I would like, but I was only 20 sec./mile off of race pace. With a month to go before the race, I'm quite happy with thi... read more
