    getting back into shape. at least consistent with 100 times, but not where i want them to be yet. key word yet. but at least now i can do 5 x 100 with 10 s rest vs only 3. progress?!!

    a quick run on the byway to get some fresh air. at least the muscle issue i was having before seems to be subsiding so i can run without the right side muscles tensing up in inner quad!

      went to chiro today - he says what i am going thru is normal.
      the right side is adjusting to not having to do twice the work.
      so it will be a wait and see kinda game for awhile.

    rain, rain go away...in the meantime, guess i need to ride on the trainer. So i did! amazed I was able to make it 90 minutes. And yes, hip feels better after riding :)

      it wasn't that bad. tomorrow will be a trainer ride. just heard it is snowing out. and high will be 34? yikes

    much needed yoga session. only been able to do a few stretches daily but needed a good 30-45 minutes. finally felt good. probably riding like i have a new leg again tomorrow....

    hip/leg is getting better. learning to use more of left leg to climb is always the challenge. something is shifting now that i am trying to do #yoga every day, too.

      It's amazing how cross-training helps so much! I only started getting into the cycling and swimming, not only because I wanted to start doing triathlons, but I had a heel injury and had to stay fit since I had to not run for a while. What a difference!

      that is one reason i always liked triathlon! but i got injured playing football in rain. foot stuck in mud. and well, 3.5 years later after stopping things that i should not have stopped, losing functionality as a result i think i am on the rebound :) and cross training helps! mine now being swim bike yoga

      only day 1, so we shall see. this morning PT exercises were tough so gonna try again later after some yoga. yesterday they were easier than today! at least i could hold it for 1 min x 3. today the hip kept firing or rather misfiring, and i would get a shooting pain when it shifted so only 2 sets of 20-30 seconds. hoping it is easier later! might have to email PT doc and ask if ok to do twice daily??

    thought yoga class was a bit slow, but able 2 concentrate on keeping little muscle group that keeps me from swinging hip... not as ez when we rush thru moves.

      it is amazing how a change in focus makes a slow class rather enjoyable! but yes, this healing process is rather slow so i need to find the inner moments...or movements :)
