good The usual Petersfield run. 34 mi 02:00 17.0mph pace

Back to a bit of form or just a few extra PSI in the tyres? Either way the result was a, punctureless, good ride in glorious sunshine. Can't wait to see if the Scottish weather is the same?

blah To hell and back (just)! 25 mi 02:05 12.0mph pace

Big mileage today.....until I was hounded by punctures!!!! Wasn't feeling brilliant from the outset, glad to get into work (and that says it all)!

Jason, punctures ??? A ride would not be a cycle ride with you if you didn't get at least 1 puncture ;-)

Thought I was past all that! Thought my road tyres were surrounded by some mystical force that protected them! .....apparently not!

alright Southsea, Havant, Petersfield... 47 mi 03:00 15.7mph pace

Quite well up until the heavens opened at the furthest point of the ride then it became cold, wet and quite miserable. Didn't last too long thankfully, had just about enough time to dry out be... read more

    good Southsea, R-Castle, E+W Meon,... 48 mi 03:00 16.0mph pace

Took a gamble on the weather (not that we'll have that luxury on the trip) which paid off all bar a little drizzle half way through.

Just made the route up as I went out of back roads and co... read more

good Off Road - Peaslake 30 mi

Out really just for a bomb around with Dave G so we were really surprised that we'd covered so much ground when we clocked it at the end. Lots of long, sandy hills to get up but some good flow... read more

    good Road - Horndean, Marden, R-Ca... 32 mi 01:52 17.1mph pace

Hard to keep up the pace in the wind but dug in like the trooper I am to get a good overall time (I think)!

    good Pre-work workout - Road 32 mi 02:00 16.0mph pace

Finally got in a decent ride on the newie! Out to QE Park from work via Marden and South Harting before turning back going through Finchdean, Stanstead and Emsworth.

Impressed with pace and hill ... read more

    good Test Ride 25 mi

First ride on my ankle since being viciously sythed down at football (I fell over), pleased to report no real bother. First ride on the new bike that's going to cart my ass from Scotland to Pe... read more

good Round IOW - Off road 70 mi 07:00 10.0mph pace

Long, long, long, long, long ride. Pretty chuffed with time as there were some tough climbs and strength sapping terrain.

Beer at the end was the best bit!

    great Footy - 5 aside 3 mi 01:00 20:00 pace

Held on for a win. Unfortunately used all my energy for my cycle ride!

  12. VELO
    tired Denmead/QE - Off road 27 mi 03:00 9.0mph pace

Not well!!!! Too many punctures, too little strength to avoid trouble! Note to self; must eat at lunchtimes instead of playing football. Fell out of love with cycling on this ride!

    good Footy 3 mi 01:30 30:00 pace

Good fun! Off road around Thorney Island (thus named for the thorns that gave me a puncture and left me to run 2 miles back to the main road (nice blister)) then onward out Westbourne and beyond be... read more

    good Footy 4 mi 01:30 22:30 pace

Played fantastically well I thought! Slightly off target shooting may explain the fact that we lost. It's a funny old game!
