Left 7am from home, got just past Mt Mitchell by 3:30pm. Had to bail due to time, took much longer on all the climbs than I anticipated. Ate and hydrated well, felt good when finished. Tight muscles afterward, but no soreness. Successful attempt in my estimation, and great ride.
