RUN
alright Around the golf course 8.74 km 00:54 09:56 pace
Really slow run. Tried to keep it to 5:00 pace, but then walked all the uphills and the really greasy pavement on the downhills. Who knew golf courses had so much elevation?
-
6:10 is REALLY SLOW?!!?
Maybe I should re-think my offer to run together a bit.... :p

Half way up Glenmore Rd I was glad to have done it. The fingers came back to me and the toes were almost there.
Next time give me a spank if you know I'm going to burn myself out. I'm too green to know.

Which pool did you go to? I always use goggles, so chemicals won't burn my eyes!
The issue with being lean is a fun one, you could use a pull buoy for a while to strengthen the legs and get better form in while it holds the rear end up :p
I need a decent kick to keep my legs afloat, though any wetsuit swimming will help in that dept. later on when we get to the tris :p
