  1. RUN
    great 6.15 mi 00:59 09:33 pace

Partly cloudy, 60 degrees with a light breeze. Doesn't get much better than that.

  2. RUN
good Down and around 9.15 mi 01:32 10:03 pace

Not a bad run but awfully humid and warm. Chose a pretty hill route this time and ended up walking a little more than I would prefer. Walked around the old Odd Fellows Home a bit soaking in some ... read more

  3. RUN
good Canterbury Greenway 3.35 mi 00:31 09:19 pace

Tried out my Nike Frees again. With the Chi Running techniques that I've been working on, the shorter heel drop feels much better than it did before. Unfortunately, these shoes are just too ... read more

You might check out the Merrell Vapor glove or Road Glove. New Balance also has some good options. The MT00 is a good shoe that will work on and off road. The main thing is to find something that fits your foot well.

Thank Aaron. I definitely view you as an expert on this topic. The search gets a little overwhelming and it's nice to get advice from someone who knows.

  4. RUN
    good 9.95 mi 01:46 10:38 pace

Good run today out on the country roads east of Liberty. Kinda ran out of steam after about 6 miles and walked most of the hills but still mostly enjoyable.

  5. RUN
great Canterbury Greenway 3.4 mi 00:29 08:32 pace

Shorter run to de-stress after work. Hated being stuck at work on such a beautiful day. Pleased with my pace today. Wish I could maintain that on the longer runs.

  6. RUN
    alright 6.35 mi 01:06 10:24 pace

Felt terrible after first 2 miles. Thinking I might be dehydrated, I took a long walking break (that I didn't include in my mapped route) while working on emptying my water bottle. That seem... read more

  7. RUN
    great 8.05 mi 01:16 09:27 pace

Struggled a little between miles 2 to 4. Then got into a good groove and felt I could go much longer.

  8. RUN
    good 7.6 mi 01:13 09:40 pace

Tempo run day. Was hoping to pull off a 9:20 pace but a couple of the hills had in it for me. Still getting acclimated to the heat (and humidity) so I'm not feeling too bad about it.

  9. RUN
    good 9.95 mi 01:51 11:06 pace

First 3 miles went well at around a 9:10 pace. After that I struggled to keep a run going. Felt like I walked more than I ran. I'm so used to those runs in 30-40 degree weather. Today'... read more

  10. RUN
    good 6.15 mi 00:57 09:16 pace

6 mile tempo run scheduled. First two miles in 16:50 then slowed down some and walked some of the hills. Beautiful day to be out.

  11. RUN
good Landahl Park 7.9 mi 01:38 12:25 pace

Still recovering from sinusitis issues so struggled some on this one, especially after the first couple of miles or so. Rick T. asked about my electrolyte levels at which time I realized I had for... read more

  12. RUN
great Northland Runners 10 mi 01:33 09:17 pace

Brutal head wind the first 3-1/2 miles took quite a bit out of me. Slowed down the pace a bit for the return trip and with the tailwind everything went smooth as silk. Felt so good upon returning... read more

  13. RUN
alright Around the 'hood II 5.25 mi 00:44 08:24 pace

With the cold wet weather, I dressed a little too warm and ended up getting overheated. Also ran a little faster than I intended so got pretty tired. On the bright side, I pulled in an 8:24 pace ... read more

  14. RUN
good Around the 'hood 4.6 mi 00:40 08:43 pace

Just winged it tonight without a planned route. Couldn't get much better with 68 degrees and a light breeze. Let's just keep it like this for awhile.

great Blue Springs Lake 8.8 mi 01:47 12:06 pace

Nice to run with Rick T. again. It's been a long time. My first time on these trails and enjoyed them immensely. Great conversation made the time go fast. Thanks Rick!

  16. RUN
great Stocksdale Park / Walnut Woods 4.65 mi 00:57 12:18 pace

Just the way a run is supposed to be. Pure bliss. Got into a good place and felt like I could go forever. I wish they were all like this.

  17. RUN
    good 7.45 mi 01:08 09:05 pace

Pleasantly surprised by this run. Started 4 to 1 run/walk intervals around 2.5 miles in due to going out too fast and feeling fatigued. With the exception of one skipped walk break, continued the... read more
