I had looked forward to using the lovely flatness here on our beach vacay to get a new distance PR & I did it this morning! I used run/walk intervals of .5 mile/1 min & the .5 miles seemed to tick by quickly. I refilled my aqua pod at one of the golf courses (so 1 caddy here on Kiawah Island is convinced I'm some crazy running lady). I forgot to take the 1/4 pb on wheat I usually take on LRs so I was hungry after 1:15 but I finished fine & went straight for a vanilla yogurt & some watermelon when I got into our home-away-from-home. In less than an hour I was showered, changed & we were biking 2 mi to breakfast. The legs are ready for a lounge chair by the pool!! Happy weekend miles, all!

I am so thrilled for you, Jan! Think you might be ready for "twin terrors" sooner than you think! Great to have it behind you and enjoying the decadence of vacation living (like most normal people do!)
