My first "race pace" run of the new training. Felt really good, and just kindof got into the groove. Lots of energy - but I'm guessing that's because yesterday was the rest day? I will see how I feel on Monday when I have to do an easy 5. On pace even though I had to stop for traffic three times. It's still getting darker sooner, and I definitely need to get some new shorts. Probably better get some new shoes too, since these are topping 600mi and I don't want to switch right before a race.. time to go shopping I guess! Anyone have really great suggestions for low-drop shoes?
