    What a beautiful day for a long slow run along Mickey's Ears watching the sun rise.

    Went for an early morning beach run with Brenda (so glad she's back!). It was a nice easy run.

  3. greatSpeed Intervals at the Track 6.64 mi / 01:20 11:59 pace

    Speed intervals at the track tonight were great! Even after a day skiing with the kids, I felt great, hit all my target times and enjoyed myself.

    Today's run was a 9 mile long slow run along the trails in South Surrey. The rain actually stopped the minute we went out and it turned out to be a pretty nice run.

    We did a mile and a half warm up to the track, 3 x descending 200s, 5 x Ellis 1200s, 3 x descending 200s and then we turned the lights off at the track :-)

    This morning's long slow run along the beach was great! The sun was shining and it was beautiful.

    Wonderful run along the beach with friends. We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise and I got some good tips for Devin's upcoming birthday party :-)

    Three mile repeats by Star of the Sea School at a 10:30, 10:20 then 10:10 pace (although the last pace interval was about 10 seconds too fast). It felt good to get back out there!

    Hill repeats tonight. 2 x 3 sets, plus 2 additional "laps" up the hill to end it right :-)
