Woohoo! I'm back. That whole thing worked out quite well. Seven days off just as planned and the 5k continuous run tonight was solid. My calves are complaining loudly about this, but nothing that some stretching and a cool bath won't fix up. 10k on Sunday is the next challenge, and given tonight's most excellent run, I can't see how a lazy Sunday LSD of that relatively short distance will cause any problems.

    do you sit a lot? or for prolonged period of time? if so get up every so often and stretch your calfs. This will keep them loose though out the day.
