Tried an easy run tonight on the treadmill but had to stop after a couple of minutes due to a foot injury. I'm pretty sure I either strained or sprained the ligament that runs down the underside of the foot across the arch. So much for the foot exercises in Canadian Running magazine.
I opted for a 35 minute workout instead. 15 minutes on the elliptical, 10 minutes of intense work on the summit trainer and then a 10 minute stationary bike to wrap it up.
I think I'll skip the running for a little while until the foot feels better.

Ice your foot with ice packs, put entire foot when walking up the stairs etc. Most of all take it easy. Do free weights and bike instead of running for now. You will be back in no time.
