Hit the treadmill for the first time in ages for a quick recovery run after Sunday's effort. Felt good, but a bit fatigued. I tried to focus on form tonight - staying upright, concentrating on my a... read more

Great run James, must've felt great to get back out there again. Those hills at the end are killers, way to tough it out!

Thanks Mark. Felt pretty decent, all things considered and yeah...steep hills in the last 2k are nasty.

A couple of drops, but no rain. Just a nice warm night to run down by the lake. I love the Beach...I can't believe I live here sometimes.

Thanks Mark...we were running under 5:20 for a lot of it, but some walking over the last 4k really hurt the time. Didn't really care as there was no finish line at the end and it was still nice and fast.

Oh you got caught in the rain? Crazy! I was lucky enough to miss the rain on my bike, got to my destination just before the skies opened up! The rain can be fun, you're right, but I've been caught in the rain way too many times this summer!

    goodRosedale Valley 12.35 km 01:05 08:29 pace

A little on the wet side, but that's how it goes sometimes. Good run in drizzle first, then light rain. Ran with a fast Ironman and was happy to keep pace over 12k on a pretty uphill first half.

Took some convincing to get my butt out the door, but I was glad I did (as usual). Just beat a pretty decent downpour back to the house, but other than that it was a pretty casual 5k.
