good Back from the sick 5.44 km 00:30 08:52 pace

First run back after a solid few days of being sick. I took it pretty easy since my energy is still low. We'll get back into the swing of things this weekend.

  2. Still sick with the remnants of a really nasty cold, but not panicking by any stretch. I've missed a couple of runs at this point in the training and it's not a concern. The plan going fo... read more

great Variety Village Treadmill 8 km 00:41 08:17 pace

A hard 6km on Tuesday and 14km yesterday meant tired legs today. Nothing new...I've been running on tired legs since January. I've pretty much forgotten what it's like to run on rest... read more

great Commute Home 13.73 km 01:09 08:07 pace

It was such a nice day, so I made plans to run home from work tonight instead of taking transit. I had 10km on the schedule, but the run home is just under difference, right?

  15. RUN
great Variety Village Treadmill 6 km 00:31 08:21 pace

Easy 6km the day before Around the Bay. Felt great, ran strong. Thought about goals and strategy and visualized a strong run up the last hill and to the finish.

  16. RUN
great Variety Village Treadmill 10 km 00:52 08:24 pace

Nice mindless run. Didn't think much about the running part, and watched some hockey on the TV at the Village. One more easy 6km on Saturday and then it's Around the Bay on Sunday.

Tough. The legs were tired from the start and I just didn't have anything to give on this one. I think some rest is in order here.
