great Windy MGT 16.01 km 01:32 09:14 pace

Super windy, but very enjoyable run with Olivia from the DYRR. A race pace'ish 16km for her, and a comfortable 16km out and back for me. Big tailwind on the westbound out, big headwind on the ... read more

  2. RUN
    great Treadmill 6.12 km 00:30 07:53 pace

Easy 30 minutes on the treadmill. A set it and forget it kind of run.

  3. RUN
great Neighbourhood Loop 6 km 00:30 08:09 pace

Watched the @BlueJays take the AL East, then got in 6km between the doubleheader games.

  4. RUN
great Treadmill Tempo 6 km 00:25 06:48 pace

Some days it just seems so easy. Started at 8mph and went up from there. The last couple kilometres were in the 9.1 to 9.2mph range. Best tempo run in forever.

  5. RUN
great Upper Beach to DYRR 13.43 km 01:17 09:11 pace

Another point to point Sunday run. Went from home, with a stop at 6km to pick up Nicole M., then another 7.5km with her to finish at the Running Room where Ginny had left the car (she ran from ther... read more

  6. RUN
great VV Track and Treadmill 6.5 km 00:36 08:47 pace

2.5km with Lindsey on the track (we're running the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon 5km in October). Then 4km more on the treadmill.

  7. RUN
great Tour de Birchcliff 5.05 km 00:26 08:18 pace

Bit of a wierd route tonight. Had to run over to get Lindsey from a friend's house, then her and I ran back home. Then I tacked on a 1.5km out and back for 5km total. I'll take the miles ... read more

  8. RUN
great Neighbourhood Loop 6.01 km 00:28 07:32 pace

Tempo Tuesday with a focus on a quick cadence. Felt really good tonight from start to finish. 4:42/km with a couple of stops for traffic lights is pretty decent.

  9. RUN
great MGT and Humber 14.23 km 01:21 09:06 pace

Point to point run this morning with a subway ride back downtown. Easyish pace with Kathryn and a bunch of hills in the second half. Fun times.

  10. I've now run well over 1,000km on my current pair of New Balance 860 V4's and they are still feeling pretty decent. New Balance makes very durable shoes, in my experience.

  11. RUN
great Neighbourhood Loop 5.05 km 00:25 08:00 pace

Plain old 5km run for a Saturday morning. Humid and warm, and no breeze made for a bit of a slog.

  12. RUN
good Waterfront Trail 7.01 km 00:36 08:11 pace

Back at it after a few days rest coming off the Pints to Pasta Half and travel back from Portland. I smashed my toe on Mondey night as well, so that's still tender too.

The run was fine, incl... read more

great Portland Pints to Pasta Half ... 21.1 km 01:42 07:45 pace

Super hilly route, but I ran pretty strong from start to finish. There was a monster hill right at the start for the first 1.7km, then a long downhill (which we ran up at the end). Pretty much the ... read more

    alright Flyswatter 8.2 km 00:45 08:46 pace

The worst. No breeze, still 28ºC at 9:00 P.M. and feels like 34? That's just cruel. Send cooler weather please. This stuff is terrible.

I've decided to call this route the flyswatter sin... read more

great Neighbourhood Loop (Extended) 8.01 km 00:41 08:13 pace

Already warm and humid this morning. Ran the usual 6km loop with a few modifications to make it 8km. Short one run this week, so I figured I'd extend it a bit so I still have a chance to run 4... read more

great Rosetta McClain and the Loop 8.2 km 00:42 08:16 pace

    great Neighbourhood Loop (5km) 5.01 km 00:22 07:10 pace

Back to the 5km loop for a fast tempo run. I haven't really pushed the pace like this in a while, so it was nice to see I could still kick some butt over 5km.

I ran the first kilometre hard, ... read more
