good Variety Village Treadmill 6.01 km 00:31 08:17 pace

Picked up the pace a bit tonight after getting the go ahead from my physio. Kept it reasonable though, building in the speed over the course of the run rather than just starting at 7.5mph and stick... read more

great TORW2015 Week Two LSD 10 km 00:54 08:41 pace

Much better today. I held the pace down to 7.0mph or less and focused on keeping the cadence up and my feet under me.

I think I'm going to treadmill run a bit more this week again and try t... read more

good Variety Village Treadmill 6 km 00:31 08:14 pace

Another day, another run. A bit faster tonight, but still not quite the usual sub-5:00/km pace.

Looking forward to a rest day tomorrow. But first, some glute exercises and stretching.

I think I've mentioned to you before that my brother used to play wheelchair basketball there during his youth. Such a great place!

good Variety Village Treadmill 8 km 00:43 08:43 pace

Eased back on the miles as suggested by physio Adriana. 10km became 8km tonight. Followed it up with some exercises and a stretch or three. Decent run.

That's cool. My shin issues have been replaced by chronic PF. I'm just ignoring it.

BTW you are so fast now! Impressive.

Good treadmill run! Figured an hour would be nice and hit 12.1km which was pretty much what I expected. 5:00/km is about my easy pace now and that is encouraging.

Thanks to Ginny for this neat light. It clamps on the heel of your shoe and is crazy bright. The flashing LED bar along with the movement of your foot as you run makes you very visible to drivers.
