Sweatfest. It was nice to get a workout in before work for a change. I should do this more often.

good Summit Trainer 2.25 km 00:20 14:18 pace
Killed it and nearly myself. Kicked up the pace and level and the result was a quad-burning, heart-pumping sweatfest. Climbed a quarter km more than the last time at a higher difficulty level. Good... read more

great Summit Trainer 00:15:00
Jacked up hill training. Did 15 minutes, random hills, level 10 (of 25). Felt the burn, total sweat fest.
I'll be doing more of this over the next couple of weeks instead of running.

I've decided to take a full three week hiatus from running to rid myself of the last lingering effects of shin splints. Oh, and buying some new shoes too with a touch more stability.

Good run. I still have most of my cardio despite some time off running. Finished things up with five minutes on the hand bike at 50 RPM.

This was a #runforfun with a bit of something to prove to myself. Less than six weeks after the big elbow surgery and with not a whole lot of training, I was still able to beat two hours in a half ... read more

You did so well. I can't believe that it was 6 weeks ago that you had surgery and yet you managed to run a half marathon! High freakin' five!

good Variety Village Treadmill 5 km 00:28 09:07 pace
Getting back the fitness, slowly but surely. Not the hardest of runs, but it was good to get in some miles again this week. Thinking maybe 15km for tomorrow.

Nice run. Did you know midsummer is being run on the island. Not sure how I feel about that. Oh we'll, already registered.

I knew that. No other options for a 30km this summer and I want to support that race too.

Does this mean that you, Jess & I can start virtually training for a half together now?

Yes. But it's two halfs. On the same day. Back-to-back.
