  1. RUN
alright Neighbourhood Loop 5.01 km 00:26 08:15 pace

Enjoying a head cold today. My usual mantra when I'm sick is "run with a head cold, rest if it's in your chest" so after napping away the morning, I popped out for an easy 5km.

  2. RUN
blah Neighbourhood Loop 5.02 km 00:27 08:39 pace

Feeling a cold coming on...ran anyways. Day 45.

  3. RUN
alright Neighbourhood Loop 5.01 km 00:25 07:54 pace

I had a hard time convincing myself to get out and put in some kilometres today, but finally got out the door before dinner.

Legs were heavy, the whole thing felt sluggish. The pace doesn't r... read more

  4. RUN
    great Treadmill 12.14 km 01:00 07:57 pace

  5. RUN
great Waterfront Trail and Rosetta ... 8.01 km 00:43 08:36 pace

Went a bit farther tonight than usual since the weather is so nice this week. Ran over to Rosetta McClain Gardens and discovered that a few sections of this route have no lighting whatsoever. Had t... read more

  6. RUN
great Neighbourhood Loop 5.03 km 00:24 07:43 pace

Another day, another run. These late evening runs in the dark are pretty nice. The temperatures are perfect for running. The run streak hits day 41.

  7. RUN
great Neighbourhood Loop 5.03 km 00:25 07:54 pace

40 straight days of running. Feeling pretty good these days. The shin splints are slowly improving and I'm continuing to try to run a bit slower. I should be more like 5:15/km or so, but 4:55/... read more

  8. RUN
great Neighbourhood Loop Plus 7.01 km 00:37 08:34 pace

Tacked a couple of extra kilometres onto the usual 5km loop for funsies. Also slowed things down just a bit tonight. Good run. Day 39.

  9. RUN
    great Treadmill 6.02 km 00:30 08:00 pace

Nice run. After yesterday I was ready to quit the streak, but a half hour on the treadmill and I'm feeling good about running again. Day 38.

  10. RUN
alright Starbucks to Home 2.27 km 00:13:15 09:23 pace

  11. RUN
alright Waterfront Trail 5.92 km 00:32 08:45 pace

Part one of today's run I bonked a bit because of not enough food today, so i stopped for a smoothie before finishing up the rest of the run.

  12. RUN
great Neighbourhood Loop 5.02 km 00:24 07:49 pace

Familiar route, but running it nearly everyday makes the subtle changes very evident. There's a house going up on one street, construction on Kingston Road on the sidewalks, and the various sh... read more

Good to hear! Maybe mix up some of the distance and/or run on trails sometimes. Come out tomorrow for an 8k through High Park if you want :)

I've got a wedding to attend tomorrow, or I would hit you up for some High Park hills/trails. Slowing down a bit here and there would do me some good, I think. But those 5km loops are so easy to run fast.

good Neighbourhood Loop (Reverse) 5.02 km 00:26 08:23 pace

Ran it backwards for a change of scenery and a bit slower for a (literal) change of pace. Shins are bothering me these days and I'm concerned enough to have booked a physio appointment. Depend... read more
