    great Rise-Up Run 5.26 mi 00:55 10:28 pace

It was tough. I have been off for a couple of weeks with Achilles issues. I ran in my new shoes with inserts and had no pain even after. Ran with a new group too, but I am way out paced. I thin... read more

I'm shooting for a half, but of course 1 week in and I'm sidelined for a little bit thanks to an Achilles issue. Ugh. I hope I get to a half and try for a full in the beginning of next year.

great Salisbury Zoo Stampede 5K 3.13 mi 00:32 10:17 pace

I had an awesome run this morning, my daughter was with me so I had to run slower, but she won 2nd place for her age group 12 and under at 8 years old. I love my little runner.

A website I follow on FB is doing a virtual run this week in honor of Boston victims. No costs, just a runners memorial. Feel free to save the picture and print it as your bib for a run this week.

  9. RUN
    great No-state run 9.06 mi 01:39 10:55 pace

I was excited to try to expand my mileage, which I successfully did, but I over shot my goal increase by almost an extra mile. I'm paying for it now.

  10. RUN
    alright Neighborhood 3.06 mi 00:31 10:14 pace

Started out great, but proceeded to get about half way out and got sick from an overwhelming odor of ammonia and had to turn around. I still managed to pull negative splits though, but felt cruddy... read more

blah Industrial Park- Intervals 2.49 mi 00:31 12:15 pace

I felt nasty today, but I wanted to run. I went to do my intervals and half way through I started having an annoying pain in my left shin. Any ideas what that could be? I walked through a 400m an... read more

Are you due for new shoes? Shin pain is almost always a shoe thing.

Bwah ha ha! (About the OCD comment.) You'll learn to get over that kind of quick. ;) Nice run!

Nice distance, but I'm laughing at the OCD thing, too. It's definitely true of runners that we like to end on a round number!

  18. RUN
great Country run 7.16 mi 01:16 10:34 pace

Longest run yet. Felt great until I hit the traffic filled road and then my breathing was screwed up. But one of my cow friends decided she was going to run along side me today! Made me laugh.

wow, great distance! I hate car exhaust while running, and I've definitely had a couple run-ins with cows, but they've never run WITH me!
