May have been the best run of my life. I don't know if I was just spoiled with the temperature being under 100 degrees, or if things just aligned for me. Took Gu with me, and popped that around 45 minutes, as recommended, and felt Gud. Just felt faster, and faster, and faster, and really felt like I could have kept going and going, and at a really great personal pace. Ran the last 0.3 miles at 8:12. Could have easily run my half marathon today.

    Yes. Long story short is that I'm running a course that I designed for lack of an accessible race or entry fee. I'm raising money for lung cancer research, and taking the opportunity to work on a new blog.
