      Haven't come across that kind of problem before. Is this only on the left leg? The one approach that I can think of to counter this would be long stretches of running uphill.

      Yes, not focussing on speed anymore but on distance. Also am going to "really" watch my diet from now on, so once the weight goes down, the speed will come automatically
