For the first 5 miles I kept looking at my watch anticipating I was further than I was. Just before the halfway point there was a huge hill, which was about as fun as you'd imagine. The 2nd half was painful. My legs and knees started really aching around mile 8 so I lost some speed. So glad this is over and SO pleased to be running double digits again!
