      Yay! Don't worry about "achieving" the positions - i hope your teacher is offering various degrees of difficulty/modifications for exercises that might be challenging? No matter which modification, you're still working the muscles!

      There are modifications, but mostly on ab things which are more doable for me. It's the legs in the air movements that I just cant do anywhere close to as demonstrated. But still fun.

      Is it just me or are the geese all over the park these days? I've seen them congregating in Big Rec, in addition to Stow Lake. The groundskeepers don't like that much - too much poop for the Baseball/ soccer fields, methinks...

      Huh, interesting. Both this and Alexander technique are really popular amongst (older?) musicians for dealing with physical issues related to playing. More of my younger musician friends do yoga consistently.

      I am reluctant to try Pilates at this point... perhaps I'll stick to yoga... sounds like a lovely evening at Land's End/ Sutro Baths, though. Can't go wrong there...

      My favourite yoga is more active - flow yoga, or Ashtanga... one definitely sweats. Not as fond of Bikram - where room is heated to a nice 90+ degrees. Sweat definitely pours, then...
