Thanks all. Yes, Jim is an RP. We've been running around together since '92. And yes, 81 miles for the week was very likely a mistake. We'll know soon enough ;-)

@Chris... I'm just working up the miles again, then I can think about going faster. My legs are still feeling the miles, so it'll be a while. I have a 10km in April, so that's the first goal, though it's not anything important. Shuffle shuffle!

Had a very pleasant run with @Nhan in beautiful, cool weather. All's well except for this achilles, and it isn't tragically bad. First 7 were at 8 min pace, then the last three were 7:30's or so.

Puddle stomping with Mike and Nhan B. in the cold rain. Really, it was pretty fun until we all got tired and wanted to be done. My achilles is hurting now, so I am grumpy. Ice cream might help.

  6. RUN

Beautiful weather for a run with Mike and Nhan B. We were all dragging a bit, but we felt pretty badass flowing along as a group. Almost like the old college days, except a whole lot slower :-)

I have two goal races. One in the spring and one in the fall. That way I can see the results of my winter work and keeps me running in the winter. The fall one is the one I really tr y to PR in. I usually try and put my traing plan together at the begining of each year and selected my goal races. I will end up running a hand full of small races throughout the year but I don't decided on these until a month before.
