    So...had the dam pretty much to myself on a Saturday afternoon...what gives? Y'all don't enjoy a little freezing rain blowing sideways smacking ya in the face now and then??????

      Melinda, have you tried Riverfront park at Huger and Laurel Street? It is completely flat, there and Lake Murray are the only two places I can think of that are flat.

      No, but I'll check it out, for sure....thanks for the tip! I know the hills are necessary, especially if I'm going to do any races here (found that out the hard way the first 5K I tried!)...but I can only crank out a couple of miles of hills just yet. For longer runs, gotta have some flat. I was desperate enough one day to hit up the high school track....ugh.
