Melinda, have you tried Riverfront park at Huger and Laurel Street? It is completely flat, there and Lake Murray are the only two places I can think of that are flat.

No, but I'll check it out, for sure....thanks for the tip! I know the hills are necessary, especially if I'm going to do any races here (found that out the hard way the first 5K I tried!)...but I can only crank out a couple of miles of hills just yet. For longer runs, gotta have some flat. I was desperate enough one day to hit up the high school track....ugh.
