We would both go, but our daughter is still asleep. Biking in general was tough, my thighs were burning up these hills!

I know some crazy people will log like 100 miles in the first couple of days - they usually do on these challenges. Then most people just give up after seeing that. Haha!

Ahh that's no fair. What is the point in cheating? I should make my own with no cheaters! I will see how it shakes out first though

    alright Hills! 6.1 mi 01:08 11:08 pace

Got out early before it gets to be blazing out. The wife went 5, so I had to stay 1 ahead ;). Glad I got it over with for the day!

  5. Spotify is VERY cool so far. I like it a lot! You can choose any song, unlike Pandora! Very cool for running. Sign up for an invite for free: http://t.co/tyVpImn

  6. Can everyone add my wife? She needs more people in her circle! Thanks http://www.dailymile.com/people/Michele22

  7. Put in 6 miles today. Trying to catch up to some of you! Although, it was super hot, and my hammys were tight from yesterday. But, I completed it!

It'll reset tomorrow & we'll all be back at zero. Great run, and definitely take it easy on those hammies. No injuries necessary (or even wanted).

For sure! I think it's more tightness from bending and lifting rocks yesterday. Those muscles need their own workout! I'll have to incorporate that into my regiment. I don't want to put myself on the shelf!

Hope you are working some strength training and stretching in to help with the legs. And do what you do...we all are working towards our own goals. It CAN be intimidating to see others miles, paces but we are not them. Yes, it's a tough one for me!

I like seeing everyone else's progress and miles! It helps me to push for more. I really wanted to find a site like this! I used to use Nike+ years ago, but I like this better so far. Also, I have been cross training, which is probably how I got so tight today. This is only my 4th week coming up. Some new muscles groups are just getting hit for the first time! Thanks the the words!

Hammy's were really tight from moving rocks yesterday. Left early to beat the heat, but the heat beat me instead!

I agree. The hills around me are steep and super slow. I have been changing routes, and hitting smaller hills. But this route finishes with a steep KILLER hill. My focus was just to keep the feet churning, and make it to the top.

First part of my 6 mile run. Tight hammys, taking it slow. Week one of running heel to toe complete. Less pain than usual!
