Looking at the data in Garmin Connect for my last two Friday's runs - similar distance (18 vs 15.5), almost the same route, yet two Friday's ago I felt somewhat decent while yesterday I felt terrible. I would have told you that on March 2 I was running a lot faster, yet when I compare the two I ran the EXACT same pace - however my heart rate average 23 bpm higher yesterday than the previous Friday. I'm thinking this either indicates overtraining or being sick. Since I started today with lots of sneezing I am leaning towards sick.

    I love training data for this kind of stuff. Smart analysis. Either way sounds like a day or two of rest is in order.

    Good you have this information to review. Could be a little of both whatever it is you will do the right thing. I am now going out to the Gorge this Tuesday for a long run for another course preview if you know anyone that wants to join in they are welcome.
