    Finally, a day where I have spare time and am not wearing a suit! These have been so incredibly rare this semester. It's been a little discouraging, but it felt really good to do something today.

    Right at the 5 km mark I hit a second wind, and I'm pretty sure I ran that next kilometre in under 5 minutes. I need to get a digital watch with a timer, though, it's killing me using this clockface all the time, and I can't get accurate splits.

      Times makes nice watches with lap timers, etc. for pretty cheap. Maybe a Xmas present?

    Tried the squat machine out, it just hurt my knees. I'll stick with the leg press, it's essentially the same exercise.

    I'm already starting to notice some improvement in my stroke from the weight training. I'm really excited for the next race season!

    Warmup, 6x50 at max pace, 4x250 at fast pace (each was faster than the last).
