It was just a little too chilly this morning for an actual ride (my shoes aren't warm enough), so I pulled the spin bike out on the deck for some 5min straight away/ 10min standing hill interv... read more
This morning started off weird. I think I stared at the wall for about 5 minutes after taking the dog out - trying to decide if I wanted to rearrange the room I workout in downstairs. This was my b... read more
Tried out the trail at Birch Hill that starts at the Rec Center and goes up to the top and along the ridge on the Wainwright side. There is still some ice and lots of water-logged earth up there. T... read more

I do like the results of the Insanity program. Doing it, along with a secondary cardio activity in the morning can be intense, depending on the day.
Over the weekend experienced a very strange la... read more
I hope you can get that to work out for you Andre. It certainly takes some adjustment to do Insanity and the other workouts you want to get in.
I prefer to get the intensity workouts done in the morning, but there never seems to be enough time to fit everything in. It would be great if I could convince the University to let me telecommute a few days a week. That would mean 30 extra morning minutes a day for working out!

Walked at lunch with the Design Team today, up to the market. The weather has really been amazing. I forgot to hit the Start button on Endo, so this is an estimate.
I didn't think I'd be able to get any running in this morning before work, but I'm glad I went out the door. It is true, that hardest step for a runner is the step out the door.

Even though today is a day off, I had to get out of the office for a bit. It is hard to stay inside all day when the weather is nice.
Wouldn't that be amazing to have the entire summer off. For this reason, I envy teachers.

Zuzana's ZWOW #14 from last night's workout. Did this with 12lb dumbbells. I thought about 25lbs, but glad I didn't.
After yesterday's workouts and this morning's Insanity Pure Cardio, my legs were smoked. Good thing I only had 30min to get a run it :)
Legs felt a little heavy after yesterday, but very glad to have gotten out of bed to do these two.
nice workout Christen!!

I thought taking things easy yesterday would help prep me for this run today, but my glutes and quads are burned from the earlier workouts this week. The uphills made this painfully obvious, but my... read more

I still laugh that they call this a recovery workout. There is still quite a bit of burn, just not as much as the other Insanity workouts.
nice ride Christen!!
