    This turned out to be my final run in Japan - south along the Sabagawa - once Helen and I left Jennie behind I couldn't find the time as easily.

    This was running north along the Sabagawa in Hofu - a very beautiful run - the sun went down when I was still a couple of miles from home - led to some interesting encounters with some cyclists!

    This was Jerry's birthday race in the middle of nowhere. Jerry, Jennie and I were the top three non japanese finishers. :)

    It was quite hilly but quite fun - I should run more 10ks.

    This was my longest run along the river in Kyoto - I actually ran out of river after about 5 miles - looking at the map now it looks like I took the wrong branch of the river at the fork.
