After the tri I took Monday thru Wednesday off from running. Thursday's six miles felt really hard and after three miles on Friday I felt some leg/knee/foot soreness. So I set out on today's run telling myself to listen to my body. I ran the 2.3 miles to the gym feeling strong. It was warm our but not uncomfortable. After four miles on the dread mill I accidentally hit the stop button and had to start over. About a mile back in, my left knee started bothering me and I walked for awhile before gradually speeding up again. After 7.5 miles, I headed home. Those 2.2 miles were rough, but I made it! Sore now, ice necessary.


Way to listen to your body and do what you could do, Hyedi. Great work, especially after the tri.
