I felt like I was really pushing it the second half. I guess, I was way too slow in the first half. As far and I see it, this was just one off day. First race is in 6 days. Oh boy.

It was raining. A big thanks goes out to my wife for this walk. She just had to take the dog. I don't really care, it was good to get out of the house.

One more week till my race. Not sure what to expect, have never run with a lot of people before, just my wife a few times, and yesterday with my co-worker. I hope I am not too nervous.

Just enjoy it. I can't help being a little nervous before races. The more I have raced the less nervous i get before each race though. One thing that is certain is that once the race begins the nervousness leaves. You are going to do great. You are really only competing against yourself.

Nerves are part of the deal, I think. I also think runners tend to be good people and many will be friendly and even chatty on the course. Hope it's a good experience.

I was nervous up until I passed the starting line of my first race last month. Once I was running I forgot it all and just enjoyed running. No worries, you've put in the work so now its time to be proud of all you've accomplished and enjoy the experience.

OK, I am still not sure how all this works. My C25K says, I went 1.93 Miles at a pace of 15:34. It was a 20 minute run plus a 5 minute warm up/5 minute cool down, totaling 30 minutes. I am still confused.

Hey, don't knock yourself, the difference between what you ran and two miles is so minimal. The point is you got out there, you ran, and you had no pain. Good work.

Good to see you back at it in 2013. The dreadmill, for me, is a necessary evil. I am a total crybaby about the cold. I've taken a dive off of the 'mill a couple of times but I'm not the most coordinated guy you'll ever meet. Just get some music or have a T.V. handy. A DVR helps.

Nice run! The treadmill isn't too bad if you're entertained, I think. I just can't run in silence. I wouldn't recommend reading on one for a while if you're worried about falling off though. (yeah...I did that once...)
