Stony gray sky, windy, cold. Yuck. I would be the absolute last person the San Francisco Board of Tourism should pick to write a "Come Visit!" brochure.

But enough about me. How are you today? Your hair looks lovely. Is that a new purse?

Seriously, I left the cold North for the warmth of the South. Now, I'm plotting a move to Monterrey Mexico (not really). nice purse you have there

It is cold. What happened to the sunshine? It is a good hair day, though. ;)

The bay was chock-full of those kite boarder guys again. Sheer madness. You could preserve Walt Disney's head in that water it's so cold.

John, there was yesterday when every meteorlogist said that the city would be 62 degrees. I don't think it got into the mid 50s.

The tourist board will still take you - because to us Chicagoans that is REALLY warm, and you did not mention word one about the earthquake, which is what truly frightens us. So, I think you still got a chance with that brochure writing gig.

Sue—so if I concentrated my pitch on Chicagoans, I'd still get the gig? Something like: "Yeah, dohs friggen guys oveh dere, day think it's cold, but I got my Zubaz and a friggen tee shirt on, so day don't know nothin. Bunch a friggen morons. Come ta Saan Fraan—da hotdogs an pizza suck, but at least it's not as cold as me and my buddies on da Soutwest Side." Something like that? :) [full disclosure: I'm a born-and-raised Chicagoan, so I can say these things.]

OMG, that is priceless! You really have that down. Did you play in Second City when you lived here? "Da hot dogs and pizza suck..." ROFL!
