good ...And It's Cold in Alaska 5 mi 00:57 11:24 pace

It's hot at noon in Arizona—even in the fall. Thermometer says 88F and after this easy-pace 5 miler, I believe it.

Should I have gone early this morning? Or waited until dusk to get this run in? Yeah, probably. But I never claimed to be smart.

Honestly, I was glad to get out in the warmth. 'Twas mighty nice.

I have no idea how hot-climate people get it done day in and day out. Kudos to them.

Hot runs are the WORST. Nice 5 miles though *high five* I'm going to be investing in some headlamps soonish. And a pick... in case I want to go coal mining.

Tanya—we did have a little heatwave in SF for a few days there. That was nice. But this...this is cactus weather.

JT—LOL! Might I recommend this handy tool duo: http://uqconnect.net/~zzpclach/pick-shovel-cross.gif
