In reality it was 13.1 miles--the San Jose Rock N Roll Half Marathon--so my Nike+ is in dire need of calibrating. But after being sick all week, I'm glad to have this race under my belt. Aside from walking through a couple of the later water stations, I ran the whole thing and kept a relatively even pace. Tomorrow starts training for December's half in Vegas!


grats man. sounds like it went pretty smooth for you. but i mean, next time you don't have to run those extra two miles! :)
4 months agoRun on! Didn't realize you were racing this weekend. I was a little wrapped up in my own deal, I guess. :) Congrats on the finish. As for the walking, it all counts towards the finish line. No worries.
