I guess I meant "sorta slow" for, like, @smellycents or @jbone66. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised it was a faster than 11min/mi pace! Faster than I expected from myself!

Noticed on my blogroll that your blog was still showing 8/25, and motivation was still up for grabs. Thought I'd check in here... glad to see you had an AWESOME 'sorta slow' run this weekend. :) (@RobinLeRoyKyle)

Thank you! Yeah, I have been sorta slackin' on the blog front. 9 miles was definitely a confidence builder for my upcoming half marathon... How are you?

A little delay on my part..Slackin' on the blog, no big deal. Slackin' on runs: whole other matter, right? :) Glad to hear you found your motivation again! Things okay here- 21 days 'til my first 10K & home sick a few days this wk (no training again) -- grrr!! (It's going to be one of those school yrs, I'm afraid) Hoping for a 5-miler on Sun (long for me!). Sent you a DM to @GoRun, too (shameless self-promotion). :) When's your 1/2 mary?

Robin, hope you're feeling better and back to normal at least a few weeks before the race. 10ks are fun--probably my favorite race distance. Hope your 5er went well, and that you're back to normal!

Hi John, Yes, 5K went well - picked up some new running friends along the way - great fun. Pay it forward, right? Getting really excited/nervous @ the 10K. I hear it's a good distance. Ran w/ a 8:30/miler who's training for her 1st marathon (Chicago) yesterday. THAT was interesting...gazelle & turtle. Hilarious. Sounds like your dance card is pretty full these days, too. Take care of that leg!
