Back in the Vibrams—something I felt too nervous about doing while training for the SFM half. Last time I ran in these I was WAAAAY too up on the balls of my feet and my calf went *SPROING*. This time around I'm going to be less "up", and let more of my foot connect with the ground on each stride.

So far so good! I was snailPaced™, but I cruised along and enjoyed it.

    Good work in the VFFs John! Could it be that you tried to do too much last time.

    Forefoot striking, as long as you take it easy at the beginning and progress (when you are ready), is a good thing.

    That kinda sums up part of the reason I'm not doing the VFF thing (they sit under my bed collecting dust). Training so much for things, I don't have time to just "go for a fun run". Gotta fix that soon.
