good 400m repeats

Today was a rest day, so I did 400 meter repeats w 60–90 second rests at Rice. Then I came home and did a couple sets of (assisted) pull-ups. Because I suck at pull-ups.

I missed a couple of workouts this week (I think), so I figured this'd be a little atonement.

Ran in a new pair of Vibrams. My old pair finally died, after 2 years of abuse. The old ones were the "Classics", and the new ones are the KSOs. Vibram added extra rubber in the back—at the base where the achilles and heel meet—which took some getting used to. All-in-all, though, an enjoyable shoe.

And, as a plus, I managed to run in between storms, so I got neither rained on nor hit by lightning. A big plus.
