Sorry you are going Patrick. Any reason for switching? I am switching from RunKeeper to DailyMile because of the social feeling I get when I am here.

I agree with DM being better for the social aspect. I think Strava has more technically advanced features, and many of the more serious runners are on it. I like being able to see the workouts the elites post. It really shows how much hard work they put in to keep at the top of their game. I was on DM for 2+ years and it worked great for me. If you like, check out the Strava product and see if you like it. It is free as well.

I think I'll be trying both, but I do like that the upload actually works on Strava. Did you go premium?
