    Foggy start lifted by the 2k marker leaving it well scorchio! Felt flakey by the 4.5k marker at York Minster, and ready to crawl by the time the race course was back in site. Job well done!

    Still felt heavy after eating which didn't help, too hot, but battled the hilly route leaving me smiling (after catching my breath).

    Too hot, pity the breeze only lasted the first mile. Nailed the hill, knee felt ok. Pretty good all in.

    Forgot to drink before I set off so had stars in my eyes after a mile, knee felt unstable, but plodded on and proud to have run back up the hill!
