      I only have a borrowed cheapie Motiv mountain bike of my own. Had to spend a bunch of time adjusting the gears. Them Costco guys don't know how to set it up.

      Did a tortuous 15-mile run in Alum Rock Park today. There's Boccardo and Sierra Vista trails. Some single track with dropoffs. Exposed and not particularly technical. Saw a guy riding a road bike to Vista Point. I think his tires were a bit wider than average.
