Evening treddy run. Two run intervals of 2.5 minutes and two of 1.5 minutes. Didn't really suffer jumping up to.5 minutes but I think it would have been harder on pavement. Ran after swimming ... read more

As you work on keeping your face in the water with freestyle also try to pull your legs up so they do not drag low. To help with that - lean forward while swimming, as in - try to shift your body weight up to your shoulders. Another part of that shift of the body is every time you reach your arm forward, reach as far as possible (like you would to reach for something way above your head). Then pull all the way back as your other had reaches way forward.

Nice swim! If you are looking for a good pair of goggles, I really like Speedo Vanguisher. Not expensive, can get them mirrored or not, available in optical (with vision correction).

Thanks Rob! I picked up a 3 pack of speedo goggles as Sam's club today so if those don't work I will check out the Vanquisher.

LOL...I run much faster on intervals like that with walk breaks in between them too. Your hubs description is pretty much spot on! Glad the foot held up!
