Per doctor's orders, a walk with the dog after my ART appointment today. Sore during the walk, but feeling good now.

Doc seemed to think that nothing serious was causing the pain, and went on to work on my left glute and hip, primarily. A little pelvic readjustment, but only "a hair misaligned" which is great news since that was my primary problem in the past. Good to see that the PT work I've put in is keeping that stable.

Spent some time on the foam roller and found no trigger points on my ITB, quads, or hamstrings, and he said overall I have good strength but need to work on increasing stability. Got some modified pistol squats to do and a couple of easy runs then another appointment on Friday. Seems too easy for the amount of pain I had over the weekend, but zero pain right now. Working all day tomorrow then runs on Wednesday and Thursday. Got to stay patient... the race is less than two weeks away and I am antsy to get back on my feet.

    I'll bet it felt good to shake out the kinks nice n easy after that! Time well spent! You've gotta be so anxious to log a few relaxed taper runs & then let 'er fly in a couple wks! Stay the course...it's going to work fine!

    Glad to hear that this went well! I think that our issues are similar. If they are, you will likely have a lot of success with ART and some VERY focused stability work. Keep doing what you're doing and good luck with the first run back this week!

    I actually use walks as recovery runs. Getting moving is good to get the blood flowing and flush out the junk.

    This is good news man and really this close to the race you'll be o.k. Take it easy when you get back on your feet but I totally understand the desire to get out there quickly.
