I had an awesome time running with my buddy Margaret in her first half marathon. We kept a nice steady pace the whole way. She was a real trooper sticking with me because my legs would just start speeding up out of the blue (especially when the full marathon winner raced past us). We only walked the water stops and crossed the finish line hand in hand. It was a special moment and it was so great seeing both my TNT and dailymile friends along the way. I felt like I had a lot more to give despite just PRing 3 weeks ago at Disney. I hope to improve on that time at the Irongirl half marathon in Cleawater 3 weeks from now.
