good Chagrin Falls - GA 15.6 mi 01:59 07:39 pace

Early start, but what's new? Just bore down and knocked this one out. Watch on time of day but checked at midway point and pace was 7:44, so a little progressive despite the rolling hills on the back half. Could tell I was pushing those a bit. Probably about as glycogen depleted and hungry as I've ever been at the end of this one. And really. craving. coffee.

2 hour recovery/anticipation? Craziness! I have a lot of respect for you high mileage guys. You're running about 30-40% more than me and I'm pooped! Impressive!

I always wonder what you guys mean when you say you feel glycogen depleted or I think I have even seen "I felt the glycogen leaving my body". Maybe I need to get more in tune with my body--or maybe I need to figure out the glycogen depletion thing in general--but it is all greek to me. Now being hungry and craving coffee--I could write the book on that. Solid early mileage Greg.

@Dave, this was probably my longest run for the week, debating what to do on Friday but will probably do two shorter runs to save up for Sunday.

@Maddy, my wife asked me if I was ever planning to run the Burning River 100. And I just had to smile. In the past, she would have told me I was nuts, but I think she has just accepted the fact that it's understood now.

Super miles again Greg!! It surprises me that you felt so glycogen depleted and hungry on this particular run - considering all the miles you've run!! I hope the coffee helped!

Another great sign of your training that you did this with the watch on time of day and depleted like that.
