Beastly performance! Incredible effort both in training and racing to hit a 3 min PR on an already killer marathon time. Great job, Greg! You can't control what anyone else does in a race and who shows up to run. All you can control is how you do and sometimes the body has the total say on that. To throw down a 3-minute PR a year later just shows that you are continuing to get stronger. Well done, my friend!!!

Congratulations on a new PR. That's an amazing time. I also have to thank you for your 2011 Towpath race report. I kept reading it last week in (mental) preparation for the Chicago Marathon on Sunday. It definitely helped during the race to focus on staying relaxed both physically and mentally and I had a great race. You're awesome!
