Well, hopefully that scare is past - after some painful treatment for the Achilles yesterday (ART, Graston, cold laser - the last part isn't really painful, just oddly cold), I was feeling better throughout the remainder of the day, and felt mostly fine this morning, still some minor swelling and soreness, but it's going to be manageable. Bonus was that he worked out some IT band tightness that I never would have gone in for, so maybe a minor blessing in disguise that the Achilles issue happened.
Kept it easy this morning and fortunately beat the stormy downpour that started 5 minutes after I got home. The lightning on the horizon the last 2 miles of the run was breathtaking.
