Not only was today the last 15, it was the last scheduled double. Yes, this was planned. So now any doubles get rewarded with an extra rest day.
It was rough for the first half-mile, then not so bad. The Lunarfly's definitely provided relief to the calves today, or maybe it's just that the quads are drowning them out. Very pleasant day for a run, just tried to stay light on the feet. Also perfect timing to get out of the office as I'm going through an upgrade on my PC software (and it's still happening, so PC is still not usable).

Nice Greg... love that feeling when you start to get to the final things in the training schedule. I won't miss those midweek 15 milers for a while :) Huge week you have going... doing great so far managing to squeeze it all in!

Very impressive 15+5, Greg. And a great way to make use of the down computer time. I am making use of the 5 minutes it is taking my client to get out of a noisy supermarket so we can discuss her case with some hope of understanding one another by posting this comment, in keeping with the theme.

Looking good moving into taper. I have a friend from HS (who lives in FL) running Towpath this year (she's not on DM). I told her I "knew" the defending champ and she was impressed. I may have to have her get your autograph.

That is definitely some kind of impressive double duty today ... and a good sign that you are nearing the end of this training cycle. it has been a very through one well executed.

Ah, could've had a longer run! Just kidding, I think you ran plenty today. I've been using the cues for staying light on my feet, especially when tired, and it's making a huge difference.
