New PR by 25 seconds or so. Not what I hoped for today, but I know I'm overtraining a bit right now. Strong finish salvaged otherwise sour mood about the race.

Greg - Monster race in the middle of a cycle. Just a tremendous effort! Proud and happy for you. Enjoy it. You are in a great spot.

    Damn that's fast! Overtrained? Probably
    PR? Certainly

I bet you need a least 3 or 4 complete rest days. Your body needs to REPAIR from this and that other training.

    Amazing race Greg. AMAZING!

A PR is awesome, especially considering all you've been going through lately. I'm so far from PR shape that I'd do almost anything for something similar. Great job!

Glad to hear it was a strong finish, and bonus for getting a PR! Really impressive just a week out from head cold, which as you may recall, Sir Batman, came on the heels of a stomach bug!

A PR is a PR. Besides this is not your A race either. You never know what is going to happen for the B races as you generally run through them.

Sorry that it was not what you expected it to be. Obviously we all think that you knocked it out of the park especially given the intensity of your training cycle and the flu followed by a cold. Give your body a day or two to absorb this one if you can. Congrats on the PR.

Nice job on the PR. Considering the miles you've been putting in over the last few weeks that seems like a solid result. By the way, if the route is the same as last year, you finished just past Hogs Back.

Greg that is one hell of a race to pull off during this training plan. Especially in the middle of the two weeks you are in. Stay positive, you are training for the Tow Path Marathon not today's Half. Pfitzinger has you right were you need to be in the first weekend in October. Congrats on the PR, you. You are a beast, and oh yeah sorry about another year for the Browns!

Awesome tune-up race, Greg! I juts took a look at the results and it looks like it was an extremely deep field. Kudos on taking 3rd in an AG that has to be the most competitive. Very impressive, no matter how you felt on this particular day.
