Planned to do 15 today to get it out of the way on the holiday, but after getting back late from the wedding last night (20 hour day), 5 hours of sleep wasn't going to cut it. So I slept in (and got just over 6 hours of sleep, since predawn son was up early), and just ran an easy anticipation run, with 6x10" strides at the end. Still humid out, the outdoor black-tie wedding was a bit uncomfortable last night, but I think all this training even helped in managing that.
Legs felt good after the dense finish to last week.

Smart move Greg. Much better to focus on that 15 and get the training benefits from it later in the week on solid rest (for you anyway:). Enjoy the day Greg!

Nice miles and smart move to switch to something short after the long day yesterday.

Yeah I'm with Joe, good thinking on this to let the body absorb the training a bit. Great totals last week, Greg!

A black tie wedding this time of year equates to a 15 mile run. Nice anticipation work.

15 today would have been tough with what you did yesterday especially since it is still very humid. I think you deserve to have a nice easy day today.

Glad you got a bit more sleep! (Not that I could survive on just 6 hours). Nice miles Greg, have a great week :)

Completely agree with Mike--just thinking about an outdoor black-tie wedding when summer is still in full swing in most parts of the country makes me break into a sweat. Good game time decision on your part that will certainly pay off as the week builds up.

Yes, smart choice. 15 seems a bit aggressive after a big workout yesterday and the heavy week you had.
